Melting, Tuesday, Febraury 18th, 2014

After so many days of cold and overcast, the sun came out.

So we drove directly from school to the park.

We enjoyed the noisy quiet of the lake at dusk: the sounds of snow melting and geese taking flight.

Although the promise of spring hung in the air, as the sun set, we realized it was still cold.

So, we came home and drew a foot bath to warm our toes.

Best wishes on all of your adventures, big and small, KFW
