Super Simple Lemon Bars

This lemon bar recipe was going around Facebook. It looked too good to be true. So simple! So simple in fact that I asked my adolescent son to make them for us for our Mother's Day dinner. And he did. The verdict: fluffy, sticky, lemon-y goodness, that is so simple even your child can whip up a batch in the kitchen.

1 box angel food
2 cans of lemon pie filling
Powder sugar to dust on top
Pam to grease the pan


1. Mix dry cake mix and cans of pie filling together in large bowl.
2. Pour into greased 9 x 13″ baking pan.

  1. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until top is starting to brown.
  2. Cool on a cooling rack. Sprinkle with powder sugar.
  3. Serve and enjoy.
