Roasting Garlic: SIx Simple Steps

We just recently started roasting our own garlic. For some reason, we'd always thought roasting garlic was complicated. It's not. It's simple. And delicious. Try it for yourself this weekend. 

Garlic Head
Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper (to taste)

1. Cut the top off your garlic. Peel off the white onion-y paper.


2. Open up the cloves a little bit with your knife.


3. Drizzle with olive oil.

Ignore the Costco size jug of olive oil.

4. Wrap up in tinfoil.

5. Bake at 400 for 30-35 minutes, until the garlic is soft.

6. Cut out the cloves and serve on an antipasto plate with cured meats, cheese, and crusty bread.
