Candy Sushi

What do you bring to a toddler's birthday party? Sushi, of course. :)
Well, when you make it out of candy.

Twizzlers (multi-colors)
Rice Krispies
Fruit Roll Ups
Swedish Fish

Make Rice Krispie Treats according to the classic recipe, but add eight extra marshmallows per batch.

In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. Add 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.

Using buttered spatula or wax paper (or your own washed, buttery hands) evenly press mixture onto a cookie sheet.

Once rice krispie treats are cool, cut in rectangles approximately the space dimensions as a fruit roll up.

Place two to three Twizzlers on one end of your rectangle. Trim the extra.

Roll.  Again, you can trim the extra. In fact, I recommend it, our rolls were a little too fat because we didn't trim.

Stretch the fruit roll up around your roll.

Trim into sushi size pieces.  Yes, we used a cleaned scissors.

Here's an idea for your extra pieces.  Just add Swedish fish

And here's an end product snap of our tasty, fun, super kid friendly sushi.
